Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Work closely with business teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable solutions.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation to prepare datasets for analysis.
- Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Implement statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to enhance business operations.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the analytical process.
Tech Skills Needed
- Big Data Tools: Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
- Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis.
- Data Visualization: Expertise in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Database Systems: Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
- Statistical Analysis: Experience with statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
- Machine Learning: Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Big Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
- A degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling and machine learning.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
