We are seeking an experienced Big Data Analyst to join our team in Berlin. In this full-time role, you will analyze large datasets, identify trends, and help drive data-informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards for business stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable solutions.
  • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation to prepare datasets for analysis.
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Implement statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques to enhance business operations.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the analytical process.

Tech Skills Needed

  • Big Data Tools: Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or similar frameworks.
  • Data Analysis Tools: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis.
  • Data Visualization: Expertise in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Database Systems: Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Statistical Analysis: Experience with statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
  • Machine Learning: Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Big Data Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • A degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with big data processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling and machine learning.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
